Radford Army Ammunition Plant (RFAAP) is a 6,900 acre manufacturing and storage facility operated for the Army by Alliant Ammunition and Powder Company, LLC.
The main plant site is located on State Rte. 114, and is served by U. S. Route 11 and I-81, both less than 5 miles away.
Services/Products available include Chemical Processing, Laboratory, Metrology, Media Services, Safety, Hazards Analysis, Ballistic Testing, Utilities, Maintenance, Training, Medical, Process Development/Manufacture, Inert /Explosives storage, and Land Development.

Metrology /Calibration Srervices |
Alliant now offers metrology and calibration services to commercial businesses.The gauge lab has been relocated and upgraded to provide high qualitycalibration servicesfor physical and electronic gauging apparatus.These services are regularly retained by RFAAP tenant clients, local and regional businesses.
